There was even skin care in prehistoric times. Skin care products have been around for a long time as well. This is true the history of perfume and cologne.
We use skin care products in order that we may take great care of our skin. These methods of skin care offer us a degree of control and protection. The environmental impact of toxins on our skin is great come we can alleviate this with skin care products.

In order to protect their skin from the elements, farmers and fishermen have used their own skin care products throughout history.
The weather can take a severe toll on the fisherman skin without the proper protection that skin care products will allow. The farmer who is working outside in the fields is also going to be at the mercy of the weather. In the past you couldn’t just walk into a shop and buy skin care product so the fisherman and the farmer had to rely on nature for some help and protection.

Both the farmer and the fisherman would have known exactly what to use, the fishermen might have used whale blubber, and the farmer, well you can use your imagination. They were natural skin products after all.
It is very difficult to believe in any skin care product these days that comes from a manufacturer. Are we doing ourselves more harm than good with all the chemicals that are in today’s skin care products?
